John H. Dickerson Heritage Library Hosts Free March Programs

John H. Dickerson Heritage Library, located at 411 S. Keech Street, invites the community to participate in a variety of free programs this March designed to encourage creativity, hands-on learning, and personal enrichment for all ages.

March 2026 Programs

Adult Musical Painting
Monday, March 2 & Monday, March 23 | 1:30 PM
Explore creative expression by using music as inspiration to create guided painting projects. Supplies may be limited—registration required.

Adult Quick Crafts
Monday, March 16 | 1:30 PM
Develop hands-on creative skills while constructing unique craft items from a variety of provided materials. Supplies may be limited.

Recipes and Reads Culinary Lab
Monday, March 9 | 3:00 PM
Learn new cooking techniques while preparing cheeseburger sliders. This project was funded under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Florida's LSTA program is administered by the Department of State's Division of Library and Information Services.

Adult Coloring
Tuesdays | 1:30 PM
Strengthen focus and creative expression while enjoying coloring with pencils and markers—no registration required.

Computer Basics
Thursday, March 5 & Thursday, March 19 | 1:30 PM
Build confidence navigating and using basic computer programs in this introductory technology session.—No registration required.

Sit & Be Fit
Thursday, March 12 & Thursday, March 26 | 1:30 PM
A seated exercise program designed to support flexibility, mobility, and overall wellness. All materials provided—no registration required.

All programs are free and open to the public.
