Hope Place Public Library Offers Free Adult and Youth Programs in March

Hope Place Public Library, located at 1310 Wright Street in Daytona Beach, will offer a variety of free programs for children, teens, and adults throughout March. From Storytimes and S.T.R.E.A.M. activities to crafts, games, and fitness programs, there are opportunities for all ages to stay active, try something new, and continue learning.
March Programs
Sit & Be Fit
11:00 AM | Mondays
Designed for adults, this seated fitness program focuses on stretching and strengthening exercises. Seating is limited.
Crafts & Creations
2:00 PM | Mondays
Strengthen creative skills and explore artistic expression through guided coloring and craft activities that support lifelong learning.
Family Tales
10:30 AM | Tuesdays
An interactive literacy program for children of all ages. Families explore literacy and social skills through stories, rhymes, music, and engaging activities in a fun, educational setting.
Quick Crafts
3:00 PM | Tuesdays
A physical literacy program designed to develop fine motor and critical thinking skills. School-age children create crafts using a variety of materials provided in the children’s section. Supplies are limited.
MakerLab
4:00 PM | Wednesdays
For grades 6–12. Participants explore, design, and experiment through S.T.R.E.A.M. activities and crafts. S.T.R.E.A.M. stands for Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math.
S.T.R.E.A.M.
3:00 PM | Thursdays
An interactive multi-literacy program integrating Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math concepts. School-age children develop innovation, imagination, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through hands-on activities.
Adult Gametastic
11:00 AM | Thursdays
Adults can explore engaging games that promote concentration, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Winners may receive prizes while supplies last.
Gametastic
3:00 PM | Fridays
An interactive gaming program designed to develop critical thinking, social, and strategy skills through hands-on play in a fun, educational environment.
