Beaches, dog parks, patios, and trails for pups in Daytona, Ormond, New Smyrna & Ponce Inlet.

🏖️ Dog-Friendly Beaches
Dogs must be on a leash (6 ft max). No dogs in designated wildlife areas. Owners must clean up after their pets.

  • Lighthouse Point Park (Ponce Inlet) – Dogs allowed on the inlet shore (not the ocean beach).
  • Smyrna Dunes Park (New Smyrna Beach) – Leashed dogs allowed on boardwalks and river shoreline.
  • Ormond Dog Beach – Designated area between Rockefeller Dr. and Milsap Rd. (leash required).

Things to keep in mind: Bring water & shade, watch weather and vehicles, keep dogs under control, respect wildlife, and always pick up after your pup.

  • Bicentennial Park (Ormond Beach) – 40 acres stretching from the Atlantic Ocean to the Halifax.
  • City of Edgewater Dog Park – Located in the SW corner of Rotary Park.
  • Halifax Humane Society Dog Park (Daytona) – Agility equipment, shaded seating, and water stations.
  • Manatee Island Dog Park (Daytona Beach) – Separate small-dog area, shade, and drinking water.
  • New Smyrna Dog Park (NSB) – One-acre fenced area with 2 sections, water, and shaded shelter.
  • Ponce Inlet Dog Beach – Located at the beach at Ponce Inlet and Peninsula.
  • Reed Canal Dog Park (South Daytona) – Fenced, shaded park with walking paths and benches.
  • Riviera Oaks Dog Park (Holly Hill) – Large/small areas, pond, and 1-mile walking path.
  • Riverfront Esplanade (Daytona) – Scenic waterfront trails (leashed) plus a membership agility park.
  • Seemore Dog Park (Port Orange) – Separate large and small dog spaces.
